The Chianti Region
I love the Chianti region, it's where I kickstarted my career and the place where I learned the value of hard work. I had just left school and to start making a living I had to find myself a job as my parents didn't agree with my decision of dropping out. So I started working in the Chianti region by harvest grapes and learning to create one of the finest wines in the world. It was the hardest months of my life, going to bed with my hands bleeding and no energy left in my body. The life lesson was so harsh that it transformed me into a fighter and cleared my path ahead, for that I'll always be thankful to this land. A couple of months ago I went back with my family, and we visit several vineyards. We stayed at the Compagnie des Hotels located in a small village in the heart of the Chianti region, Radda in Chianti. The experience has been fascinating and staying in a small village of farmers helped to live it more intensely. We also had the pleasure of dining at a Michelin restaurant, it was our first time with five courses of such refined delight. Not surprisingly, Tuscany, and in particular the Chianti region, are world renowned to represent the Italian excellence by combining landscapes, lavish life with one of the best dining experiences. Also, if you are passionate about wine, Radda in Chianti is one of the three historic villages part of the Chianti production, and here is made one of the most prestigious names of the Chianti Classico identified by the Gallo Nero, and nearby you can also savour delicious Brunello, Oreno or Cabernet according to your personal taste.
