What about Tennis?
During my adolescence I did every possible sport, championships of athletics, pentathlon competitions, and among others tennis. A fun sport especially if your sparring partner is a good friend or your spouse. I was one of those guys who turn up to the sport club with three rackets and at least five cans of balls, a fanatic, like I did for the myriad of other sports that I practiced. Last time I picked up a tennis racket I was fifteen, but my wife wanted to try to play and at home we had all my old gear so we decided to head to the tennis club with an amazing weather for some intense fun. While our son was sleeping we started practicing, I was teaching her the basics of tennis since she was enjoying hitting the balls without any rule. After half an hour we started filing three or four shots in a row without having to stop to retrieve the balls. One of them went beyond the wall into a small stream with Katya's backhand, the precision in the shots was not her strength. We closed the session with plenty of laughs and will definitely be back to play tennis, ideally once a week, to get familiar once again with the red-clay. Tennis is a very intense sport, yet interactive, much better than running on a tradmill for an hour! If you are wondering where to organize the next date with your beloved one forget the restaurants, you have the rest of the relationship to become boring, take her/him to do something new, and tennis is more than a valide option. Find something interesting and creative where all technological gadgets are out of reach and where you can bond together while sharing a good laugh. For me the day was a definite ace!
