The man in question is my father, and he turned sixty yesterday! For his birthday two of his sisters came to visit from Denmark, my aunts Celeste and Andrea. After picking them up at the airport of Podgorica we decided to have a family dinner to celebrate this milestone. The designated place for the dinner was Plavi Kokot, one of my favorite restaurants, located in the mountains above Budva, good food and atmosphere. During the dinner I teased my father a lot, because to me he doesn't feels or looks like sixty, at least twenty years younger. Few days before his birthday while he was doing wheelies on his mountain bike and he fell after several attempts, so now he slightly limps, not exactly something that a sixty years old would do! I love my dad because he always had a very difficult character, has been very successful in life, especially for the fact that there is nothing that can stop him, stubbornness mixed with being fearless. And the part I like the most is the ability to learn, make mistakes and learn the lesson, as his conviction not to have children, which converted to two children thanks to the equivalent stubbornness of my mom, who as describes my father brought him the best thing that ever happened, a son and a daughter! Between work and travelling the world he wasn't oftern at home but he always set a good example, and I can say that it is the person from whom I learned the most, not so much from the teachings, but following his example. Definitely one of the smartest and brightest men I've ever met. Best wishes popes, who in addition to being a father you've become a dear friend!
